Werd is a game, not a data business. This page says what we keep, what we do not, and why.
What we do not collect
You do not sign up to play, and we do not collect your name, email address, or anything else that identifies you. The game runs in your browser.
What stays in your browser
Your language choice, the timing of your recent plays, and whether you have already sent feedback are kept in your browser's own storage, so the game can remember your settings and keep its limits. That information never leaves your device.
Feedback you send
If you send us feedback, we receive only the message you type. Please do not include your name, email address, or other identifying information: we may use an AI service to screen and translate messages for operational purposes, and an email service delivers them to us.
That is the only time anything you provide leaves this site, and we do not share it with anyone else.
Site analytics
This site uses minimal first-party analytics — page views, referrers, and basic on-page behavior such as how far you scroll, how long a page is open, and clicks on links and buttons. Anonymous visitors are counted with a daily-rotating hash; your raw IP address and browser details are never stored, though a coarse country (derived from that IP, which itself is not kept) is recorded to see roughly where visitors come from. For forms, only that a form was started or submitted is recorded — never what you type into the fields. Accepting the consent banner sets a first-party cookie so returning visits can be counted; declining keeps the anonymous count only. Global Privacy Control is honored as a decline. No cross-site tracking and no advertising pixels.
We use it only to understand our traffic and how the game is used.
